Who made this guide
I'm Ruby Bagdade, a UCF finance student (Class of 2028) and a Realtor with LoKation Real Estate. Off-campus prices are scattered across dozens of websites, and fees are easy to miss, so I put everything in one place and keep it updated. Have questions about a complex, a lease, or buying near campus? Call or text me at (248) 410-6594.
The quick picture
Student complexes rent by the bed: each roommate signs their own lease. Houses rent by the whole home, so the price per person depends on how many roommates share it.
Student apartment complexes near UCF
Monthly price per bed as listed on rental sites in October and November 2026. Prices move with availability and floor plan, so confirm with the property before signing.
| Complex | Per bed / month | Floor plans | Distance to campus | UCF shuttle | Notes |
|---|
Prices are the lowest-to-highest per-bed rates shown on ForRent University, Apartments.com, 407apartments and UCF Off-Campus Partners listings. "From" means only a starting price was listed. Many complexes add monthly fees for utilities, parking or amenities, and most leases run 11–12 months. Floor plans list the bedroom counts each complex offers; most student floor plans give each bedroom its own bathroom, but confirm with the property. Distances are from rental-site listings; "–" means none was listed.
The free UCF shuttle needs a UCF ID and runs Monday–Thursday 6:30am–10pm and Friday 6:30am–8pm. Route numbers are from UCF Parking Services. Also on Route 5: Knights Landing, a conventional (not per-bed) 2-bedroom complex. Routes can change each year, so check parking.ucf.edu before signing.
Apartment or rented house?
Change any number to match your situation. Each card shows what one student's housing costs your family per month.

Rent a house with roommates
Thinking about buying near UCF?
Some families buy a home their student lives in and rent the other rooms to roommates. It can build equity over the college years, but whether it pays off depends on price, rent, how long you'll own it and more.
I'm a finance student as well as a Realtor, so I'll run the real numbers for your family. Free and no obligation.

Get a free housing plan for your student
Tell me your student's move-in date, budget and how many roommates they'll have. I'll send back:
- The complexes and houses that fit your budget, with current prices
- Houses for rent near campus before they hit the big sites
- A buy-vs-rent breakdown for your family if you're open to owning
No cost and no obligation. Most student leases for next fall are signed between November and February, so earlier is better.
